- The Yale Peabody Museum has multiple wheelchair-accessible entrances, and multiple passenger elevators.
- Accessible Parking is available in lot 22v on the corner of Whitney Avenue and Humphrey Street.
- When planning your visit, we advise all guests to explore drop off, rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc), or carpool options.
- Wheelchairs are available for use on a first come, first served basis. Please visit the front desk to request one.
- Seating is provided within the galleries. Rest spaces are also located throughout the museum.
- Lightweight foldable stools are available throughout the museum and can be requested at the front desk.
- Sighted guides available upon prior request via peabody.visit@yale.edu
- Touchable items are located throughout the fossil galleries on the first floor, including depictions of the large murals. The Living Lab, on the third floor, also features many things that can be handled.
- A keypad with headphone jack is available to provide audio navigation and descriptions for multimedia kiosks throughout the galleries.
- Audio descriptions for some touchable items are available through the Amuse app. These are indicated by raised QR codes with an audio description symbol. New audio descriptions will continue to be added. This content is also accessible through the web app and does not require a download.

Sensory bags are available for use during your visit to the museum on a first come, first served basis. Please visit the front desk to request a bag.

- The Peabody Museum welcomes service animals in adherence with ADA requirements.
- Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
- Guests are welcome to nurse their children in the galleries. However, a private wellness room is available on the lower level for guests who would like to leave the galleries to nurse or feed their child/children. This room is single-use only and includes a cushioned chair with arms, a small table, a locking door, and an electrical outlet.
- All-gender restrooms are located on the first floor, the third floor, and the lower level.
