Youth Gallery Educator Program
Students enrolled in EVOLUTIONS have the opportunity to gain paid work experience as science educators in the museum’s galleries. Through mentorship, training, and hands-on teaching, students learn to communicate scientific concepts to diverse audiences. Participants develop skills in public speaking, teamwork, and professionalism while progressing through a structured system of projects, evaluations, and skill-based badges. Each weekend, these youth educators engage museum visitors through interactive carts and craft activities, making science more accessible, engaging, and meaningful for all ages.
