The Living Lab

This is a place for you to think about the world in your own way.

The Living Lab is home to live animals, including butterflies, poison dart frogs, lizards, and an eastern indigo snake.

This gallery displays an array of objects from across the museum’s collections. Most of the Peabody’s galleries feature items selected by curators to tell a story. In the Living Lab, visitors are invited to explore and form their own stories based on what they see.
