The Yale Peabody Museum K12 Team offers customizable professional development experiences for K12 schools, districts, and organizational partners.
Offerings range from introductory orientations to the museum and its educational resources, to curriculum-aligned learning developed in collaboration with educators. Professional development offerings are designed based on partner goals, grade levels, and staff capacity, and are approved in alignment with the Education Department’s current projects, initiatives, and availability. All programs emphasize inquiry-based learning, object-centered teaching, and meaningful connections between museum collections and classroom practice.
