Do I need a ticket to visit?
No! The Peabody is open to all, with no time or date restrictions for individual visitors. We encourage you to come visit anytime during our open hours.
What about group visits?
Field trips and group visits still need reservations. More info

No food or drink is allowed in exhibit areas. Guests are invited to use the Central Gallery for snacking.
Rest spaces are located throughout the museum for guests and their families. Seating is also available in the galleries. Guests will find plenty of seating in the Central Gallery, and additionally on the second floor in the balconies and corridor overlooking the Central Gallery.
Guests are welcome to nurse their children in the galleries. However, a private wellness room is available on the lower level for guests who would like to leave the galleries to nurse or feed their child/children. This room is single use only and includes a cushioned chair with arms, a small table, a locking door, and an electrical outlet.
The Peabody has dedicated Yale lot parking and nearby metered street options. On weekdays, parking is available in Lot 22V. On weekends, visitors can also use the entirety of Lot 22 plus additional nearby Yale parking garages. When planning your visit, please explore drop off, rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc), or carpool options.
