In this riotous animated family comedy, Remy loves fine French food and wants to be a chef—which is a problem, since he happens to be a rat. Despite the disapproval of his father and brother, who are happy eating garbage, Remy lives in an expensive French restaurant and has adventures every day with its rat-despising staff as he pursues his dream.
