From the familiar creatures of our local neighborhoods to the great beasts of the untamed wilderness, how many of these animals are true natives of our continent?  The story of North America’s iconic wildlife is one of movement across vast distances driven by changing climates, intermixing of once-isolated populations, and even surprising re-introductions.
