Would you like to help the environment? Do you know of a wetland near you with frogs calling? The Museum is looking for volunteers to help monitor frog populations in nearby wetlands during the spring and summer months. The time commitment is 15 minutes once or twice a week, about a half hour after sunset.  Only older children are recommended as half an hour after sunset can be after 9pm in the summer.  You do not have to be a frog expert as training is provided.  This training is co-sponsored by Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, and The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk and is free for Yale Peabody Museum, Maritime Aquarium, and Beardsley Zoo members.  Non-member families will be charged a $10 fee.

Training is available at 7 P.M. on the following dates: Wednesday, February 24; Tuesday, March 2; and Thursday, March 25.  You only need to attend one training session.
