Program Fees and Policies

Our fees and payment policies have changed effective September 1, 2020.  Please note that the Museum is now closed for renovation and programs are presented on-line.  All program income goes directly to support the Yale Peabody Museum and its education initiatives.



School & Youth Group Programs - $150

  • 1 on-line program with up to 25 students
  • Additional programs on the same day are $100 each

Ask the Scientist Program - $100

  • 30 minute on-line program with up to 25 students

Museum Highlights Programs (adult groups) - $150

  • Maximum group size of 25

Colleges and Universities

  • College and university classes: group rates apply for program reservations

We understand that school systems are operating in a wide variety of ways because of the impacts of COVID-19.  We will work with you to accommodate your particular circumstances.  Contact



Payment Policies

  • Payment must be received prior to the day of your program.  
  • If we must contact you for payment after the date of the program, an administrative fee of $25 will be added to the invoice.
  • Accepted forms of payment include:

    • Credit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover only)

    • Check made out to Yale University

    • Purchase order

  • Coupons, Museum memberships, Yale IDs, or library passes will not be honored as part of the group rate.

  • If technical difficulties prevent us being able to provide your program, we will reschedule if possible, or refund your payment if necessary.
  • We will not refund a program fee if you cancel the registration fewer than 5 business days before program.
  • Groups that fail to show up will not receive a refund or will be billed for the program if payment has not already been received.
