Message from the Director - March 12, 2020

Dear Peabody Museum Community,
Our priority is the health and safety of our visitors, staff, faculty, students, and volunteers. As we all come together to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Yale’s museums and galleries have determined it in the best interest of all community members to close our spaces to the public.
The Yale Peabody Museum will be closed until April 15th. We will make efforts to bring you content via email and social media and hope to welcome you back soon. If you are planning to visit after the 15th, please check our website beforehand, as the situation remains a fluid one.
You can check the status of Yale’s response anytime at the COVID-19 website being regularly updated by the Office of Public Affairs and Communications.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with specific questions or to share your concerns. Thank you for your continued support of the Peabody and we hope to see you, in our galleries and in good health, very soon.
