Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Yale Peabody Museum. We are currently accepting applications for long-term volunteers.
We are now scheduling fall 2013 training for our Peabody On The Road outreach program. If you are interested in becoming a Peabody On The Road volunteer, please refer to the information on this web site.
If you are a high school student interested in volunteering, please click Volunteer FAQs on the sidebar, for more opportunities for high school volunteers.
We wish we could find a place for everyone who applies, but unfortunately we always have more applications than we have openings for volunteers.
Volunteers are vital to the success of the Yale Peabody Museum and active in every part of the Museum. We simply can’t do what we do without you!
If you have skills, background or interests to share, the Museum welcomes you! It’s a great way to reach out to our community, meet friends, learn something new, develop skills and help with scientific research. Become a Peabody Volunteer and find out why over 200 individuals offer their time and talents to this institution year-round!
Acceptance into the volunteer program is contingent upon successful application and interview. Please understand that the Museum always has more applications for positions than we are able to fill.
