The Publications Office supports the mission of the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History by making the Peabody’s research, collections, exhibitions and educational activities accessible to the academic community and to the general public. An important part of this support is publication of the work of staff and research associates, and their colleagues, with an emphasis on research based on the Museum’s collections.
From time to time unpaid internship opportunities with the Yale Peabody Museum Publications Office are available to qualified undergraduate students from accredited institutions. Projects can include general interest and exhibition publications as well as scholarly journals and books, and can touch on all aspects of editorial (copyediting, permissions) and production (image editing, photography) tasks according to student interest. Contact the Publications Manager for information.
