Charitable Donation Requests

 

The Peabody Museum is pleased to give back to the community by considering donation requests for fundraising events from qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Connecticut.  It is our policy to donate one Family Free Pass (5 free admission tickets) per year per eligible organization.

 

While each request receives careful consideration, we regret that we are unable to accommodate all of the organizations that request our support. The following groups are not eligible to receive complimentary pass donations:

 

  • Individuals or individual families
  • For-profit organizations
  • Political campaigns/fund-raisers
  • Organizations outside of Connecticut

 

Due to the large number of requests we receive, allow at least 4 weeks for us to review and process your request.  All requests must be in writing. Phone solicitations will not be accepted.

 

To request a donation, please follow the below instructions. Requests that do not include the following will not be considered.

 

  1. Include the organization’s formal request for donation letter on the organization's official letterhead.
  2. Include the Tax ID number or send a copy of the IRS determination letter.
  3. Include the name and address of where we should send the donated Family Free Pass.
