A different take on Columbus Day

It is our practice at the Yale Peabody Museum to celebrate Columbus Day weekend with a closer look at the lifestyles and traditions of native peoples. This year’s focus will be on Taino culture, the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean.

Check back for a schedule of weekend activities, including crafts, games and a midday performance.
