Description: While the Earth, Moon and the planets all behave in predictable ways, other objects in our Solar System do not.  This program emphasizes solar system objects, meteorites and comets that are not always predictable and may collide with the earth. Students will examine rocks from Mars and the Moon, and touch meteorites, including a 1,635-pound meteorite from Red River, Texas.
